Workday Secures Numerous State and Local Government Contracts, Modernizing Legacy Systems
Workday, Inc., an enterprise AI platform for HR, finance, and IT, is experiencing significant adoption among U.S. state and local governments. The company announced that it is signing a new state or local government client nearly every week, as these agencies move away from outdated legacy systems. Recent new customers include the City of Bell Gardens, California; Bexar County; the State of Delaware; the City of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; New Jersey Transit Authority; New York State Unified Court System; and Utah Transit Authority (UTA). Additionally, the City of Akron, Ohio; the State of Georgia; the City of San Mateo, California; and Sandy City, Utah have recently gone live with Workday's solutions. These entities are part of a growing community of over 100 state and local government customers that have selected Workday in the past two years.
