Orrville Public Library Expands Spring Calendar with Community Events and Programs
The Orrville Public Library has announced a series of new events and programs for the spring season. These include a continuation of the 'Orrville: A Local Story' series, which will focus on the town's history in anticipation of the United States' 250th birthday. This event is scheduled for April 14 and will feature participation from local organizations such as the Orrville Historical Society and the Orrville Railroad Heritage Society. Additionally, in celebration of Earth Day, the library will distribute free trees starting April 17, provided by the Secrest Arboretum. The Children's Department will also host a scavenger hunt. Other programs include 'Crafternoon' for children in grades 3-6 on May 1, where they can create tissue paper water lilies, and a Kindergarten Play Lab on April 29 to help children prepare for school. Registration for these events begins on various dates in April.
