Microburst in Northern Colorado Causes Power Line Damage and Fire
A suspected microburst in Greeley, Colorado, has caused significant damage to power lines and sparked a grassland fire. The incident led to the temporary closure of the interchange at highways 85 and 34. The Greeley Police Department reported that one northbound lane of Highway 85 has since reopened. The microburst, a sudden and powerful downdraft, is believed to have been responsible for the damage, highlighting the severe weather conditions affecting the region.
