Firefighters Combat Residential Blaze in Central Las Vegas
Firefighters in Las Vegas responded to a significant residential fire on Wednesday afternoon in the central Las Vegas Valley. The fire was reported just before 2:25 p.m. near the intersection of West Oakey Boulevard and South Arville Street. Upon arrival, fire crews found a single-story structure engulfed in flames, which had spread to a second home. The fire was upgraded to a second alarm due to its intensity. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The fire caused significant disruption to local traffic as crews worked to contain the blaze. An artist, Samuel Leone, who was nearby, captured the scene in his artwork.
