Ford Dealership Faces Criticism After Customer's Wheel Falls Off Post-Service
A Ford Bronco owner, Destynee Galloway, experienced a significant issue with her vehicle after a routine service at the Lake Keowee Ford dealership. Following an oil change and tire rotation, Galloway noticed instability in her vehicle. Shortly after leaving the dealership, the front right wheel of her Bronco detached. Galloway documented the incident on TikTok, which has since garnered significant attention. She claims the dealership failed to properly secure the lug nuts on her wheel, leading to the incident. After the wheel fell off, Ford towed the vehicle back to the dealership. Galloway was advised by the towing personnel to demand a replacement for the damaged rim, which the dealership initially resisted but eventually agreed to after further insistence. The process took six weeks, during which Galloway faced communication challenges with the dealership.
