OpenAI Enhances Image Generator with Web-Based Information Retrieval
OpenAI has introduced an updated version of its AI-powered image generator, ChatGPT Images 2.0, which now includes 'thinking capabilities' that allow it to search the web for information to create more sophisticated images. This update is powered by the new GPT Image 2 model and is available to ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise subscribers. The enhanced capabilities enable the generator to pull information from the web, create visual explainers, and reason through the structure of images before generating them. The update also allows the creation of up to eight images at once, maintaining consistency in characters, objects, and styles across scenes. Additionally, the generator can now produce images with a resolution of up to 2K and in various aspect ratios, improving its ability to generate images containing text in multiple languages.
