Granitestone Sauté Pans Recalled Due to Burn Hazards from Malfunction
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced a recall of approximately 740,000 Granitestone Diamond Pro Blue Sauté Pans due to a malfunction that poses burn hazards. The recall affects pans imported by E Mishan & Sons, Inc., based in New York City. The issue arises from the metal cap on the screw connecting the pan to the handle, which can detach and eject forcefully when heated, posing a risk of impact and burns to consumers. The recall follows reports of 98 incidents, including one case of bruising and burn injuries. The affected pans were sold at major retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, and Costco from August 2021 to February 2026. Consumers are advised to stop using the pans immediately and contact E Mishan for a full refund.
