Washington Nationals Honor Vietnam Veterans with Special Day at the Ballpark

The veterans, hailing from Wyoming, were recognized on-field and participated in pregame ceremonies. The event served as a 'welcome home' for these veterans, many of whom did not receive such recognition after their service in Vietnam. The veterans visited the Vietnam Veterans Memorial before the game, which was an emotional experience for many. The event included ceremonial activities such as the first pitch and lineup card delivery, highlighting the veterans' contributions and sacrifices.
