Instructure, an education technology company based in Salt Lake City, Utah, has disclosed a data breach following a cyberattack. The attack disrupted services and compromised personal information, including names, email addresses, and student ID numbers. The company, known for its Canvas learning platform, has taken steps to mitigate the impact, including reissuing application keys and enhancing security measures. The breach was claimed by the ShinyHunters extortion group, which alleges the theft of 3.65 terabytes of data affecting millions of users.
