Gene Simmons Supports Immigration Crackdown and Advocates for Music Fairness Act
Gene Simmons, the frontman of the rock band KISS, has expressed support for the White House's crackdown on illegal immigration. During a visit to Washington, D.C., Simmons, who immigrated to the U.S. from Israel, emphasized the importance of following legal processes for immigration. He shared personal anecdotes about his family's immigration experience, highlighting the hardships they faced. Simmons also addressed the American Music Fairness Act, which aims to ensure that musicians are compensated for radio play. He plans to testify before a Senate Judiciary subpanel to advocate for this legislation, which he believes will rectify the financial disparities faced by recording artists.
