Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is currently hospitalized in Florida with pneumonia. According to his spokesperson, Ted Goodman, Giuliani is breathing on his own after initially being placed on a ventilator. The 81-year-old's condition is considered critical but stable, and he is being closely monitored. Giuliani's health issues are reportedly exacerbated by restrictive airway disease, a result of his exposure to dust and toxins during the September 11, 2001, attacks.
