Lotus Group Facilitates Russian Tour Operators' Visit to Cambodia to Boost High-Value Tourism
Siem Reap, Cambodia, recently hosted its first delegation of Russian tour operators as part of a strategic initiative to attract high-spending international visitors. The visit was organized by the Lotus Group, a Russian investment and tourism firm, in collaboration with Cambodia's Ministry of Tourism. The delegation was welcomed by H.E. Neang Mao, State Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism. This familiarization trip aims to showcase Cambodia's tourism offerings to Russian markets, promoting the country as a destination for luxury experiences, wellness retreats, and cultural tourism. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance Cambodia's tourism sector by targeting affluent visitors who can contribute significantly to the local economy.
