European Investment Bank Funds Electric Mobility Expansion in Italy and Finland
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has signed a €48 million financing agreement with Drivalia, a company under the Crédit Agricole Auto Bank group, to support the development of electric mobility in Italy and Finland. This funding will facilitate the deployment of approximately 2,900 zero-emission electric vehicles for businesses in these countries. The initiative aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by about 3,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually, compared to a similar fleet of conventional vehicles. The project is part of Drivalia's broader strategy to expand its electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle offerings across Europe, aligning with the EIB's goals of promoting sustainable mobility and contributing to European climate objectives.
