HailGate Founder Accused of Scamming Michigan Fans Over Morgan Wallen Tickets
John Klein, the founder of the HailGate tailgate group, is facing allegations from Michigan football fans who claim he scammed them out of Morgan Wallen concert tickets, VIP experiences, and signed memorabilia. Klein allegedly collected money from customers for meet-and-greets and exclusive packages that were not legitimate, as Wallen's official Ticketmaster listings state he does not participate in VIP activities. The University of Michigan's licensing agency and Wallen's representation have issued cease-and-desist letters to Klein, and the Michigan Attorney General is reviewing complaints against him. Over 600 people have joined a Facebook group called 'HailGate Victims' to share their experiences.
