Alexis Bossé, a 21-year-old from Quebec, has developed a new social media platform called Lyvio, designed to reduce screen time and promote genuine social connections. Unlike traditional social media apps that prioritize engagement and entertainment, Lyvio features a chronological feed without algorithms or advertisements. Bossé's motivation stemmed from personal experiences with the negative effects of excessive social media use, leading him to create an app that encourages users to disconnect after viewing content from friends and family.
