San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan has clarified details regarding a recent car accident, admitting that he was at fault. The incident occurred on July 14, when Shanahan took his eyes off the road to search for his phone, leading to the collision. Initially, a clerical error in the state database incorrectly stated that the other driver was at fault. The Palo Alto Police Department confirmed Shanahan's account and is in the process of correcting the error. Shanahan's admission came during a meeting with select media members, where he provided a detailed account of the accident.
