Agriodor Secures €15M Funding to Expand Insect-Repelling Fragrances
Agriodor, a French deeptech startup specializing in olfactory biocontrol, has raised €15 million in a funding round led by Crédit Mutuel Impact. The company develops blends of natural volatile organic compounds to repel pest insects without harming pollinators or human health. Their approach targets insect behavior, using synthetic fragrances to deter pests. Agriodor's product, INSIOR® Gr A, has shown a 40% reduction in green aphid populations during field trials. The funding will support the development of new products, expanded geographical coverage, and global distribution partnerships, particularly targeting the U.S. and Brazilian markets.
