Over Half of Clean Power 2030 Projects Offered Grid Connection
More than 700 energy projects, crucial for meeting the Clean Power 2030 targets, have been offered grid connections in Great Britain. This development follows a major overhaul of the grid connection system, which aims to prioritize projects that are ready to proceed. The projects include solar, wind, hydropower, and battery storage, collectively unlocking nearly 40 gigawatts of capacity. This initiative supports the goal of achieving 95% of the energy mix from low-carbon sources by 2030.
