Local Sound Collaborative Expands with New Studio in Rochester, Enhancing Community Engagement
Local Sound Collaborative, a nonprofit organization established in 2022, is set to open a new studio in Downtown Rochester, New York. The organization, which aims to create a welcoming space for musicians, artists, and families, is moving from its previous location on Railroad Street to 343 East Ave. The new studio will allow for expanded programming and increased accessibility. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for July 25, 2026, featuring live music from local artists. The organization is also conducting a fundraising campaign with a goal of $20,000 to support the transition and sustain its programs. Over the past year, Local Sound Collaborative has been active in the community, offering music classes, artist grants, and hosting events to support local nonprofits.
