Joint Bar Mitzvah at Western Wall Celebrates 125 Orphaned Boys
A joint bar mitzvah ceremony was held at the Western Wall for 125 boys who have lost parents, including those affected by the October 7 War. Organized by Colel Chabad, the event provided a day-long celebration for the boys and their families. The boys were called up to the Torah and received new tefillin. President Isaac Herzog attended, offering words of encouragement and resilience. The event aimed to provide a sense of community and support for the boys, many of whom have faced significant hardships.
