Spencer Pratt Criticizes Mayor Bass's Climate Plan as Ineffective Amid Environmental Concerns
Spencer Pratt, a reality star and Los Angeles mayoral candidate, has publicly criticized Mayor Karen Bass's new environmental plan for the city. Pratt labeled Bass's initiatives as 'performative proclamations,' arguing that they fail to address the immediate environmental and public health threats facing Los Angeles. He highlighted issues such as 'drug zombie encampments' and the high incidence of city fires, which he claims are exacerbated by the current administration's policies. Pratt also pointed out that many of the plan's objectives, such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions and achieving 100% clean energy by 2035, are recycled ideas that have been in place since 2019. He accused the mayor of neglecting more pressing environmental threats, such as toxic waste fires and pollution from vagrants, which he believes are being ignored by city officials.
