The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the recall, emphasizing the potential health risks for individuals with allergies to these ingredients. The affected products were distributed to Uncle Giuseppe's retail stores in New Jersey and New York, packaged in 11-ounce plastic containers with sell-by dates from September 4, 2026, to November 6, 2026. The recall was initiated after a labeling discrepancy was discovered during a facility inspection. Consumers are advised to discard the product or return it for a refund. No illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall.
