Severe Storms in Hawaii Cause Destruction and Evacuations
Hawaii has been hit by severe storms, resulting in significant damage and evacuations. According to Deadline, the storms, characterized as Kona lows or seasonal cyclones, have brought the worst flooding in 20 years to the region. Over a period of 14 days, the storms have dumped an estimated 2 trillion gallons of rainfall across the islands. Notably, a set from the 'Jurassic World' film series was destroyed by a fallen tree, as revealed by actor Chris Pratt. The storms have also led to power outages and forced residents, including actor Jason Momoa and his family, to evacuate from Oâahuâs North Shore.
