Divine App Revives Vine's Legacy with AI-Free Video Platform
The Divine app has launched as a new video platform that revives the spirit of Vine while committing to an AI-free environment. Co-founded by Evan Henshaw-Plath, Divine aims to offer a social media experience that prioritizes authenticity by filtering out AI-generated content. The app features over 500,000 archived Vine videos and allows users to create and share new content using classic square and modern vertical camera modes. Unlike major platforms like Instagram and TikTok, which permit AI-generated content, Divine uses technology to verify the authenticity of videos, ensuring they are human-made. This initiative addresses concerns about the prevalence of AI content overshadowing human creators and aims to provide a space for genuine creativity.
