Band Together, a nonprofit organization, is celebrating its 25th anniversary on October 11, 2026. Since its inception following the events of September 11, 2001, the organization has utilized live music as a catalyst for community engagement and fundraising. Over the past quarter-century, Band Together has donated almost $16 million to 160 different nonprofits, making a significant and lasting impact on thousands of lives. Co-founder Danny Rosin reflected on the journey, highlighting key memories such as the initial 'Band Together for Our Heroes' concert, which brought New York City firefighters to Raleigh, and partnerships with organizations like Kidznotes, which provides music instruction to low-income students. The organization has consistently focused on addressing community needs through collaborative efforts, demonstrating resilience and growth, even during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic, where it contributed over $1 million to the United Way COVID Recovery Fund.
