Marathon Petroleum posts highest profit since 2022 as supply disruptions lift margins
Aug 4 (Reuters) - Refiner Marathon Petroleum reported its highest quarterly profit in four years on Tuesday and topped analysts' profit estimates, as prolonged disruptions to crude supplies through the Strait of Hormuz lifted refining margins. Shares of Marathon rose around 2.1% in premarket trade.
