Russian Frigate Admiral Grigorovich Returns to Kaliningrad After English Channel Deployment
The Russian frigate RFS Admiral Grigorovich has returned to its home port in Baltiysk, Kaliningrad, after being stationed in the English Channel for several months. The frigate was primarily deployed to deter the Royal Navy from seizing dark fleet tankers. During its deployment, the Admiral Grigorovich was observed taking on fuel through ship-to-ship transfers from the repair ship PM-82. The frigate also made headlines when it fired warning shots at a British-flagged yacht that approached too closely in thick fog. The frigate Neustrashimy has now taken its place in the English Channel, continuing the Russian naval presence in the area.
