Firefighters Rescue Two from SUV Dangling Over Embankment in Lynnwood
In Lynnwood, Washington, firefighters successfully rescued two individuals from an SUV that had gone over a rock wall embankment and was left dangling above another vehicle. The incident occurred on 36th Avenue West, where the SUV was found vertically suspended, stabilized only by a power pole cable. South County Fire crews responded promptly, using chains and straps to secure the vehicle to a ladder truck. Once stabilized, firefighters were able to safely extract the occupants from the SUV. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
