The poll also reveals that while more Americans feel the personal impact of extreme heat, belief in climate change has slightly declined, with 66% acknowledging its occurrence, down from 73% in 2025. The data suggests that extreme heat is reshaping lifestyles, particularly in the Western and Midwestern states, where heat waves have become more frequent and intense.
