XRG, ADNOC, and SEFE Deepen Gas Ties to Enhance European Energy Security
XRG, ADNOC, and SEFE have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore broader cooperation across the natural gas and LNG value chain. This collaboration aims to enhance energy security for Germany and the wider European market by focusing on supply, infrastructure, and shipping opportunities. The agreement outlines potential cooperation in four key areas: security of supply, market development and growth, supply chain resilience, and portfolio and shipping optimization. The companies intend to combine ADNOC's UAE-based supply and XRG's international supply sources with SEFE's market presence, trading capabilities, customer relationships, and infrastructure access. The partnership may also involve investments in and development of energy infrastructure, as well as strategies to optimize gas and LNG portfolios and cargo movements.
