Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has been named in Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world for 2026. The list, published by the New York-based magazine, includes notable figures such as US President Donald Trump, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and others. Rahman's inclusion comes after his significant political comeback following the ousting of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. After living in exile in London, Rahman returned to Bangladesh and won an electoral landslide, becoming the national leader. His leadership is now focused on uniting Bangladesh's population and addressing economic challenges such as high inflation and youth unemployment.
