Tech CEOs Join President Trump in China to Strengthen Business Ties
A delegation of 17 U.S. business leaders, including Tesla's Elon Musk and Apple's Tim Cook, accompanied President Trump on a visit to China. The visit included a state banquet where Musk was notably popular among attendees, engaging in numerous photo opportunities. During the visit, Chinese President Xi Jinping assured the American CEOs that China would continue to open its market to foreign businesses. The summit aimed to enhance business relations and address geopolitical issues, with President Trump extending an invitation to President Xi for a visit to the White House on September 24.
