Real-World Study Shows Alzheimer's Drug Leqembi Helps Patients Maintain Stability
A real-world study has found that the anti-amyloid therapy Leqembi (lecanemab) helps most patients with early Alzheimer's disease remain clinically stable over 17 months. The study, presented at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference 2026, reported that 75.9% of participants remained at the same disease stage, while 6.6% improved by one stage. The findings suggest that Leqembi is effective in everyday clinical settings, with a safety profile consistent with previous trials. The study highlights the potential of Leqembi to preserve cognitive function and quality of life for Alzheimer's patients.
