British Ultrarunner William Goodge Embarks on U.S. Marathon Challenge to Fund Cancer Research
British ultrarunner William Goodge is undertaking a significant challenge, aiming to run a marathon in every U.S. state within 24 days. This ambitious endeavor, dubbed 'Mission America,' is designed to set a Guinness World Record and raise $250,000 for Stand Up To Cancer, a nonprofit dedicated to improving cancer detection and treatment. Goodge's journey includes Bozeman, Montana, as his seventh run in four days. He has invited the public to join him for the initial five kilometers of his Montana marathon, starting at Diamond Park beside Gallatin High School. His motivation stems from his mother's battle with cancer, inspiring him to take on this demanding physical and fundraising feat.
