Cool and Breezy Start to the Week in the Bay Area
The Bay Area is experiencing a mix of sun, clouds, and cooler temperatures to start the week. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco will see highs in the low to mid-60s°F (16-18°C) on Monday, with stronger winds from the northwest reaching 10 to 25 mph in the afternoon and evening. Coastal areas like Ocean Beach and the Sunset District will remain slightly cooler, with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s°F (14-16°C). The South Bay, including San Jose and Santa Clara, will enjoy mild and sunny conditions with highs in the low to mid-70s°F (21-24°C), while Morgan Hill and Gilroy may reach the upper 70s°F (25-26°C). Inland East Bay areas, such as Concord and Livermore, will also see warmer conditions, with highs in the mid to upper 70s°F (24-26°C). Overnight, clouds will increase across the region, with a slight chance of drizzle or light rain showers, particularly in the Santa Cruz Mountains and west-facing hills of San Francisco.
