Telangana Launches Self-Enumeration for Census 2027, Emphasizing Digital Participation
The self-enumeration phase of Census 2027 has begun in Telangana, with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla leading the initiative by registering their details online. This phase, which runs from April 26 to May 10, allows citizens to submit their information through an official portal, marking a significant shift towards digital data collection. The initiative aims to enhance accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in gathering demographic data.
