Drone Major Launches Procurement Platform to Boost UK Drone Industry
Drone Major has introduced a new managed procurement services platform aimed at accelerating projects in the UK drone sector. This platform is designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) involved in emergency services, disaster response, and critical infrastructure missions. The system connects global suppliers with procurement opportunities in robotics, drones, and unmanned systems, offering a streamlined process for identifying suppliers, evaluating bids, and managing project delivery. The platform also provides support for compliance and regulatory approvals, including beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) authorization. This initiative aims to empower British SMEs and reduce reliance on foreign supply chains, particularly from China.
