Egyptian President El-Sisi Directs Expansion of AI, Cloud Computing, and 5G Networks
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt has issued directives to significantly expand the country's digital infrastructure, focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) applications, cloud computing technologies, and the deployment of 5G networks. These instructions were given during a meeting with Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Raafat Hindy, and Director of the Signals Department of the Armed Forces Major General Hany Mahmoud Mansour. The President emphasized the need to attract investment in cloud computing and AI, alongside the construction of hyperscale data centers, to bolster Egypt's digital economy.
