Namibia University of Science and Technology Co-Hosts African Energy Summit
The Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) has been announced as the official co-host for the International African Energy Oil and Gas Summit 2026. Scheduled for October 20-24, 2026, in Windhoek, the summit will focus on Africa's emerging role in the global energy sector. With Namibia becoming a hotspot for oil, gas, and green hydrogen exploration, the summit aims to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial development. NUST's involvement highlights the importance of local capacity building and technological advancement in the energy sector.
