Omaha Airbnb Meth Lab Operation Leads to Federal Sentencing
Three individuals, Ricardo Gutierrez-Castillo, Eric Luviano-Cabrera, and Heleodoro Luviano-Castillo, have been sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for operating a methamphetamine lab inside an Airbnb in Omaha, Nebraska. The charges include conspiracy to possess and possession with intent to distribute more than 50 grams of pure methamphetamine. The operation was uncovered after the Airbnb owner reported suspicious activities, leading to a police investigation. Authorities discovered 33 kilograms of methamphetamine in a vehicle and an additional 15 kilograms inside the Airbnb, along with a makeshift laboratory. Following their prison terms, the individuals will face five years of supervised release.
