Ferrari-Carano Winery Co-Founder Rhonda Carano Passes Away at 72
Rhonda Carano, a prominent figure in the wine industry and co-founder of the Ferrari-Carano vineyards and winery, has passed away at the age of 72. Alongside her husband Don Carano, she established the winery in Sonoma County in 1981, which grew into a nationally recognized label. Rhonda Carano was also closely connected to Reno, Nevada, where she was a native. Her husband, Don Carano, who also founded the Eldorado Hotel Casino, passed away in 2017. Rhonda Carano's contributions to the wine industry and her community have left a lasting legacy.
