Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing on Florida Highway, Avoids Collision
A small plane, piloted by a 21-year-old flight instructor named Emily Shelton, made an emergency landing on a Florida highway. The incident occurred after Shelton reported oil pressure issues to an air traffic controller. She was accompanied by a student who was on his first flying lesson. Remarkably, both Shelton and her student walked away from the landing without injuries. The emergency landing was captured on a dashcam by Eric Jordan, a truck driver who was nearly involved in a collision with the aircraft. Jordan also recorded the aftermath on his cell phone.
