Alternativa Film Festival Showcases Diverse Films from Asia and Latin America
The Alternativa Film Festival, a nomadic event founded by tech company inDrive, recently concluded its third edition in Medellín, Colombia. The festival featured a diverse lineup of films from Asia and Latin America, including 15 feature-length films and 15 shorts. Notable entries included Argentina's 'Belén,' Peru's 'Runa Simi,' and Thailand's 'A Useful Ghost.' The festival aims to highlight culturally resonant stories and foster cross-cultural collaboration. It has become a platform for showcasing films that address social issues and celebrate diverse narratives from underrepresented regions.
