Georgia Runoff Polls Show Mike Collins Leading Derek Dooley
In the upcoming Georgia Republican runoff for the U.S. Senate, Representative Mike Collins is leading former University of Tennessee football coach Derek Dooley. Recent polls by JMC Analytics and Polling indicate Collins has a significant lead, with 50% of respondents supporting him compared to 36% for Dooley. The runoff was necessitated after neither candidate secured 50% of the vote in the primary election. The winner will face Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff in a high-stakes election. Governor Brian Kemp has endorsed Dooley, while President Trump has not yet endorsed a candidate.
