Washington Terrace Fire Claims Life of 87-Year-Old Resident
An 87-year-old man, Ted Burrell, has died from injuries sustained in a wildfire that occurred near Washington Terrace, Utah. The fire, which burned close to several homes, initially resulted in Burrell being transported to the hospital with what were thought to be minor injuries. However, his condition worsened, leading to his death. The fire also caused minor damage to Burrell's home and a camper trailer. This incident marks the first wildfire-related fatality in Utah this year. The fire, known as the Adams Fire, grew to 45 acres and prompted the evacuation of hundreds of homes, although only one home suffered minor damage.
