Sammy's Grill on Highland Road Closes as It Seeks New Location
Sammy's Grill, a well-known restaurant on Highland Road in Baton Rouge, has announced its closure due to the end of its lease. The property owners have decided to move in a different direction, prompting the restaurant to close its doors on June 14. Sammy's Grill has been a staple in the Baton Rouge and LSU community since 1988, renowned for its crawfish and local charm. Despite the closure of the Highland Road location, the restaurant is actively searching for a new site to continue its operations. Meanwhile, the Prairieville location will remain open to serve customers.
