Hotel in Deukhuri Fined for Violating Business Ethics by Serving Stale Food
A hotel in Deukhuri, identified as Purba Paschim Highway Hotel, has been fined Rs 25,000 for violating business ethics. The hotel was found serving stale food to travelers along the East-West Highway. The Food Technology and Quality Control Office, led by Padam Baral, conducted an inspection and discovered several violations, including the use of artificial colors in food, improper kitchen structure, and failure to display price lists. The hotel had been previously warned to maintain standards but failed to comply.
