Arconic Foundation Eliminates $3.5M in Medical Debt in Quad Cities
The Arconic Foundation, in collaboration with Undue Medical Debt, has successfully eliminated $3.5 million in medical debt for 2,775 residents in the Quad Cities area. By investing $200,000, the foundation was able to clear over $30 million in medical debt across several states, including Iowa, Pennsylvania, Indiana, New York, and Tennessee. Undue Medical Debt purchases medical debt from hospitals and health systems at a fraction of the cost and forgives it, providing significant financial relief to affected individuals. Ryan Kish, president of the Arconic Foundation, emphasized the importance of addressing the medical debt crisis through adaptable and affordable solutions.
