The 2026 Georgia governor race is intensifying as the latest poll by State Navigate shows Democratic nominee Keisha Lance Bottoms leading with 51% support among likely voters, compared to Republican nominee Rick Jackson's 44%. The poll, conducted from July 10-13, surveyed nearly 450 likely voters and has a margin of error of 4.6%. This race is one of the most closely watched in the Georgia midterms, with Bottoms, a former mayor of Atlanta and senior advisor to President Joe Biden, facing Jackson, the founder of Jackson Healthcare. Previous polls have shown varying results, with Fox News reporting Bottoms ahead at 52% and Wick showing Jackson slightly leading with 43.2% to Bottoms' 42.7%, with a significant portion of voters still undecided.
