Magic Castle in Hollywood Set to Reopen After Minimal Fire Damage
The Magic Castle, a historic Hollywood venue, is set to reopen after a fire broke out on its roof. The fire, which occurred during renovations, caused minimal damage thanks to quick action by staff and firefighters. The building, known for its Victorian architecture and as a hub for magicians, houses valuable artifacts and a library, all of which were preserved. Owner Randy Pitchford expressed relief that the fire did not cause significant harm to the venue's historical elements. The Los Angeles Fire Department contained the fire within 40 minutes, and no injuries were reported. The venue has passed inspection and is scheduled to reopen to the public.
